Shellseeker
I have been watching those USGS gauges -- Zolfo Springs below 6 feet means that some of my fossil spots are shallow enough. PEACE is available to all. A lot of small stuff and some interesting fragments. Fragments first: the first seemed like a mammoth fragment, but really odd if it is. The next 2 I have not idea 1st and 3rd are 1.25 inches. The middle one is 1/2 inch. Shellseeker
FV, Sounds exciting!!! On the Giant Beaver, I had found a smaller fragment two months back and yes, it does seem to have the same linear lines for an incisor. It is 1.25 inches long, I have seen the complete tooth at about 6 inches *(pictured on this forum by someone form Northern Florida).. And then I looked up a Capabara fossil tooth and found the image #4 , YES , another tooth I have not found yet.. 2 out of 2.. and I am trying to match the 1st 3 photos -- Impressive and thanks...
