TNTortoise
I have been told this is a shrimp OR a crinoid cross-section. What do you think? Found on a creek gravel bar in Middle TN. Thanks for looking!
frozen_turkey
thats so cool! i love searshing gravel bars, because you'll never know what your going to find. It doesnt resemble any crinoid x-section ive ever seen so im going to side with the shrimp ID. I'd say thats one of the most intresting fossil ive seen this month! Keep Hunting! -Frozen Edited October 30, 2010 by frozen_turkey
TNTortoise
Thanks! We are lucky enough to live on a creek, so I get to look a lot. That is a good thing because it is somewhat like looking for a needle in a haystack. It makes it extra special when you do find something, though.
