If you ever surf eBay looking at Texas ammonites for sale, you'll see that Bill Jolley has ammonites cemented into his fireplace....pretty cool.

Intresting.... make sure you use your placemats.... there was a guy posted a fossil sink not to long back if I remember right....

Hi,

This isn't quite furniture, but it does belong to room decor. An ammonite clock which I created out of some small Dactylioceratidae and Harpoceratidae from Fuegerolles in Normandie.

The Background is supplied by half of a Ludwigia from Geisingen in Germany cut and polished and stuck together back to back.

What a wonderful clock! It certainly makes you think about time, when you have millions of years on the wall to think about, as you count the few hours that each of us have, by comparison, to live our short, fleeting lives.

I've got an old penny table that needs redone. Thinking shark teeth beach.

Big project to strip sand prep and lay. Just a thought at the moment.
