Getting a crash course on color temp, light diffusion and white balance

I might qualify for a Pulitzer in photo journalism by the time I get through these

Starting with a redo on the whole shelf and then a couple dozen showing them up close and personal

I have some new displays and odds and ends to add to this thread.  I'm always busy with other research projects, but hopefully in the near future I will find some time to post all the updates.  Thanks again everyone, for all the great feedback over the years. :fistbump: :trilosurprise::fistbump:

Late to the party here Scott as I'm new to the forum.  Beautiful collection.  One thing that struck me is not only the depth of the collection but the quality.  Your collection so "viewable" due to the variety of taxa you display.  Its like going to six different museums at one time!  Well played...Ken

You certainly have one of the most impressive collections on this forum, and that's a high bar to meet.

Thank you very much! :fistbump:

 @piranha

As usual, I woke up at 5:00 am this morning, made my cup of tea, sat down at the computer and logged into TFF. One of the first topics that I clicked on was "The Collection". Probably an hour later and my cup of tea still full but COLD, I finished admiring your assemblage!!!!!!!!!!! Let me just say that I now know  why you recieved the Golden Drool Award and  it went to someone that truly deserved it. Any one of MANY individual fossils in your collection would be deserving of such recognition. It is just shocking that I had not seen this before today.
