Your L. delicatus is a particularly nice dorsal pose too! Mine's pretty blown apart, but has some feathers preserved; seems to be the way with the Yixian Fm.: nice bones or nice feathers.

In the in situ photo it looks rather cracked. Is that the same one? Did you find it yourself?

wish I found it - that would have been memorable to say the least. the person who found it told me they

were crying tears of joy upon discovery. the tooth was found in an underground river channel deposit.

there is vegetation-shadowing in the photo - happy to confirm no cracks or repair of any kind :fistbump:

um, <agonizing over strategy>, um, teh t-rex toof doan really seem to fit in with teh other fossils you gots, and my few couple of dinostuff material is startin' to look puny and weak from malnatr hungries, so can i haz dat toof to put with dem to help dem? i gib you all teh money i gots in my pocket - teh one without teh hole in it eben. <looking pitiful>

Piranha.... I can see you have chosen carefully and took a great deal of time to put that collection together... You certaintly have a good eye... I'm drawn to the poss/neg plant pieces I think you have some incredible specimens there.... Its been a pleasure looking through your material... thanks....

Now I see it properly. Thought the roots were cracks. I need 3D glasses.
