Seed ?

BROUGHT BACK AS RELATED TO THE TOPIC ''CONFUSING SEED LIKE FIGURES''/24 FEB.11

Hello. I found this item in central Crete Island, Greece and is (if fossil) of the late Miocene (Messinian). It was in argile matrix between gypsum layers. In this very spot were also some plant (leaves) and insects fossils but unfotunately not in very good condition. Dimensions 5,5 x 3,5 x 2 cm. Could it be a seed fossil and if yes what plant species of???

Hello again. After having no result with the above post, I searched the same place and I found two formations like to one into wich the above ''seed'' was. I cleared carefully the one of them knowing what is inside and this is shown in the first three pics bellow. The other formation is shown with its mattrix as found in the rest three pics.

In the same area I found allso the shown as they were when found two items, wich I think are relative to the above three. The first item is shown in the first 3 pics and the broken one is shown in the rest four pics.

Could all these guid to a conclusion???
