Guest Nicholas
I saw this tonight, I have no idea what it could be... anyone willing to throw out some ideas? http://cgi.ebay.com/Ancient-Fossil-Skull-w...1QQcmdZViewItem
Fruitbat
It is definitely an artiodactyl, likely an Oligocene oreodont from the North American badlands. To be a bit more specific, I'd say it is a worn, partial skull of an oreodont, possibly Miniochoerus (but that's stretching it without seeing the fossil cleaned up a bit). -Joe Illigitimati non carborundum Fruitbat's PDF Library
ebrocklds
whatever it is, i think merycoidodon, it is quite expensive for what it is. i would expect to pay around 45 buck tops for that. brock

Guest Nicholas
Yeah, I guessed it correct then. I agree with you guys. whatever it is, i think merycoidodon, it is quite expensive for what it is. i would expect to pay around 45 buck tops for that.brock I've been searching for a partial skull like this for quite some time, and usually they are more expensive at 65 dollars even at this quality. Then again you have better sources than I
