A few select items from the Upper Cretaceous Corsicana fm of South TX

A random sampling of some of my favorite echinoids, ammonites, and crabs from a site I found a couple years ago and have managed to keep low key enough for a well rewarded hard look after each rain. To date from this site I've taken some 1500 echinoids, 150 crabs, and perhaps a dozen good ammonites and a handful of shark teeth.

It sounds like it's an amazing place to hunt... I'd sooo love to find a crab... That's one of my goals.. I actually found a piece of a claw today.. With all the eocene limestone on it..

I have to make a point. The fossils you show us are from different eras (ammos-Mesozoic/ crabs-Eocene-Miocene).Are they from the same place? Strange...

Moropus

These are all Upper Cretaceous fossils from the same network of sites. I've found Lower Cretaceous crabs in the Dallas Fort Worth area as well.
