Heyo!

You can tell if a trilobite's fake if your willing to bite on your specimen. If its anything like plasticky or just not like a rock (fossils are basically very special rocks) throw it out cause its probably fake

And this is why I personally collect all of my fossils. It saves me all this confusion.

I'm CRAZY about amber fossils and just as CRAZY in general.
