Here's an early drawing of mine:

post-5171-0-53519100-1300298144_thumb.png

Titled "Fight over Fish". Two Spinosaurus fighting over a coelacanth.

What a wonderful menagerie! Who would believe that such as register lay buried in the strata? To open the leaves, to unroll the papyrus, has been an intensely interesting though difficult work, having all the excitement and marvelous development of a romance. And yet the volume is only partly read. Many a new page I fancy will yet be opened. -- Edward Hitchcock, 1858

Thanks! That's only the earliest of my professional drawings. I've also done:

A acrylic painting of New Jersey Cretaceous complete with a Hadrosaurus herd and one mean-lookin' Dryptosaurus, and a concept of the small theropod that might have made the Grallator footprints

An minimalist drawing of Archaeopteryx using a fine-tip marker

A drawing based off of Luis Rey's illustration that features a Sinornithosaurus with an early bird in its grip, but done freehanded (no tracing!) in none other than scratch paper

AND a cool Triassic waterhole scene that depicts the phytosaur Smilosuchus attacking a herd of Plateosaurus, which is due to be published this spring!!!

Beautiful Astrinos, with so much depth to them, you must have polished them well, bet they look even nicer in person....B)

Carmine, you are right! The sand paper had destroyed my nails... You have amazed me with your last estimation too :o This is something I had on mind to refer in my post. They really look much more nicer in person.....:)

Here's that Triassic waterhole scene I promised you about:

"Spook at the River"

Complete with what could be the best water reflections I've done yet. You can tell where I based the Coelophysis' pattern from ;)

Get stung by one and you'll think it has 1000 times more stingers.

Now that is herpetology artwork to be remembered.

The only reptile I'm experienced with and can sketch with profession is the bearded dragon :P
