RickNC
Probably a worn auriculatus. The notches in the root next to the main cusp are where the cusplets got broken off. Probably correct. Looking again I see where cusplets could have been.

Mexx
Almost all of my megalodon teeth fit onto one shelf, that's why I have to fill the rest of the display case with maritime stuff. But I tried to order them into some kind of 2D crystalline structure. All possible connecting directions of the teeth follow an exact line (long, wide, diagonal) and the teeth increase in size from front to last row. Also I tried to make a color gradient with the lighter teeth on the left and the darker teeth on the right side. That strict symmetry of the teeth corresponds nicely with the rather symmetrical shape of the teeth themselves I think. That is at least my opinion. Then I have some smaller teeth, mainly Isurus Escheri that I display with the largest of them all, a Chilean meg, that "towers" over them. There is also a small group of megs that I display with other kinds of teeth (mastodon and mammoth) as well as some other kinds of fossils. Megalodon Man
Thanks for sharing CBK and Mexx. CBK that was a sick variety of Makos. Some really nice shortfin makos in there, especially the largest one with the tannosh root. The Meg ancestors was really impressive as well. I drool over them as all I can find at my spots are early miocene megs. Also quite a few benis and threshers. You are well on your way to a museum equivalent collection. Keep it up. Mexx those megs were world class, can't even see a slight imperfection with any of them. Nice!
Northern Sharks
Great teeth everyone. Figured it was about time I put my collection up for scrutiny. I have my main large case, 1 case for Isurus hastalis from different locales, the I.escheri case (unassociated), the tiny teeth in the gem jars, and 1 of several cases of teeth too big for the gem jars, but too small for the big case. For size reference, my white labels are 1.75" x .75" (45x19 mm) There's no limit to what you can accomplish when you're supposed to be doing something else

Since I did not have the chance so far to look for my own teeth, I at least tried to choose as carefully as possible. Yes the one in the center is an Aurora Meg and probably the best overall tooth that I got.

big2th
Firstly, I am very impressed with the wide variety of how so many of you have creatively displayed your megalodons. Since you're talking about my favorite fossil, it definitely drew my attention! Mine are displayed in the following link: http://s632.photobuc...g2th/?start=all

THobern
A lot of my collection is still in boxes and containers, but I keep a lot of my teeth in display drawers from an old etymology-cabinet. The dentitions are in riker mounts and a wooden display case. It's mostly matrix pieces and vertebrae in boxes, neither of which would fit. I keep the smaller teeth in zipolock bags.
