It cooled down some this weekend and we decided to see what the rains have washed out in the Famous Brownsport Silurian Glades.

I have never seen a blastoid that long before, great finds, btw.

These are the first Blastoids that appear in the fossil record, the books say Blastoids appear in the Ordovician but have never seen one, and Blastoids were not common till the Mississippian, Even at these type localities Troostocrinus are rare.
