Pangea 3D
I just posted this in the collections thread but then discovered this ID thread...oops. Anyway this is a rodent skull of some kind I think. It is coated in varnish\shellack and can fit into your palm. I have no idea if it can be considered a fossil, where it came from or how old it might be. These images are computer generated 3d models and not the physical skull. If you need actual photos of the skull to help Id Iwould be happy to post. http://www.pangea3d.com/view_video.php?vie...d33c36b1b5fc2cb
Guest Nicholas
Could you tell us where it was collected, approximate age perhaps?
Pangea 3D
No unfortunatly I can't. I have no info on this skull which is why I was hoping someone around here could help =) I had this skull as a child when I was very much into rocks and fossils. Recently I re-discovered it in a box in my parents attick (sp). I have to believe it isn't very old. For all I know it is something very common and not extinct. Anyway I would like to know what it is an put a proper description of it on my website. thanks
