Auspex
That fossil is just too cool for words. I see a road trip to Texas when the exhibit is open. MikeD
For once, there is something in my backyard! We had a presentation on this at our paleo meeting a couple of months ago. I can't wait to see it. We've also gotten to see and handle a Dimetrodon bone from Dr. Bakker's dig in Seymour. See http://blog.hmns.org/ and click on the Paleontology category for more on both of these. The Houston museum is also getting a new paleo wing built. There will be lots more to see when it is done. They also have an incredible gem and mineral display.
