Sorry to resurrect this thread, but here is the newest addition to our collection. I cried when I first held it in my hand. :).

Carcharodontosaurus sp. from, the Kem Kem region, Morocco.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread again so that people that missed it could see a real rooted Carch tooth.

Not as special as the rest of this threads posts but it has pride of place in my collection.

Here's my submission! A Troodon tooth from the Judith River Formation in Valley County, Montana. Only about a centimeter in length. Probably my best or at least most rare dinosaur tooth in my collection.

Nice serrations on this one.

That is crazy!  Would not want to be bit by that thing!

Heres my contribution: an indeterminate abelisaurid tooth from Morocco. It's about an inch long plus the serrations are all there, but some are a little worn.

My best is my newest tooth:

Afrovenator about 1.25”. Has 2 serrations/mm and serrations end halfway on the mesial side signifying it’s megalosaurid.2ECC8A9C-6D8B-4BEA-AE51-7F91821D84F8.thumb.jpeg.1652b727896517a0c664fdb290619206.jpeg

I don't have many dinosaur teeth to brag about except this whopper. It's a 5.5 inch T. rex tooth from the Hell Creek Formation. It has absolutely zero repair / restoration and was found in a river channel deposit in Carter County, Montana. The serrations are mostly intact, although the few that are missing are obvious evidence of the voracious appetite of this fearsome predator.

The tooth hurts! :o:P

I will go for something different and choose this Eusauropoda indet sauropod tooth from Madagascar (Bothriospondylus madagascariensis) out of my collection. I don't see any of my teeth as "the best" as they are all equally as nice as each other! The reflection of the trees off the tooth is cool (second pic).

Thanks, I was ecstatic when I found it. You don't see too many troodontid teeth on the forum and I'm lucky enough to have two of my own (Troodon from Judith River, MT and Pectinodon from Lance, WY).
