Broken Bones

Here are some broken bones from the Ypresian of Abbey Wood London. They are hollow, bird and mammal bones, including bats have been found there, along with shark, shell and fish remains, these dont look like typical fish bones though.

First bone fragment is 14mm long, the closeups are 10mm field of view.

#s 1&2 are Avian: the proximal ends of tibiotarsi; #3, no clue.

Thanks Auspex,

It's easy to say this "after the fact" but that's what I thought, Cheers. I think #3 is unidentifiable, but I had to try. I have some others to photograph and will post when done.

#1 is quite "ducklike", but there is so little material to compare it to... :(
