Magnus
Hey everyone, My g/f and I were in Balls Falls Conservation Area, in Southern Ontario. We found some rocks with some interesting fossils? I'm not sure if it's a type of corral or what...any ideas?
bdevey
Looks like remnants of alot of creatures digging tunnels through the sediment. Eventually the tunnels become filled in with sediment.[ search, trace fossils ] ,very nice piece. Someone on here might even know what made them? Faceal pellets are sometimes found in theses burrows" but I agree for many trace fossils it is not kown what creatures formed them Edited August 26, 2011 by ckmerlin "A man who stares at a rock must have a lot on his mind... or nothing at all'
