I'll need to wait for a bigger house before I can display everything the way I want to. I'd like to fill a wall of shelves floor to ceiling with big ammonites and nautiloids. I could fill a couple of those big glass display cabinets with echinoids too. Another one could go to crabs. Another couple could go to Pleistocene stuff. Another would be filled with Paleozoic stuff. II need to make some stands to cradle mammoth tusks as well. I have about 75 12x16 Riker mounts that really deserve to be on the walls as well. The little stuff in these mounts really deserves to be displayed as well. For now I've been sneaking things in the house one at a time and bracing myself for the wife's reaction. She is still complaining about the 90LB Eopachydiscus ammonite I put in the living room 2-3 years ago, and I just sneaked a big St. Clair fern slab into my bathroom last week. Now I need to figure out where to put those 2 big articulated whale verts.

Currently, I'm reviewing my entire collection, and I'm recataloging everything using Trilobase, so everything is out of order. I can't properly display my fossils without doing this stuff first, but here's the individual displays for my teeth!

Enjoy!!!

I display most of my best fossils in attractive ryker displays.

I generally keep a few pieces on a few bookshelves or tables, but most of my stuff is in cabinets, drawers, and boxes.

Good job with these images, STG! Even the labels are readable.

Boys and Girls

Here are some images from my office at work. Its a good thing my boss and president are paleo friendly, understand my obsession, and don't seem to see much conflict between paleo and my work performance. When I get a chance I'll post some pics from my displays at home.

I am sort of in the process of preparing fossils in my collection, taking pictures, and organizing them. Not sure how long it will take, but when i am done. I'll definitely post some pictures

I have only been collecting for 3 years so I don't have alot of nice fossils yet. I found a old gun cabinet at a yard sale and had some glass shelves cut to fit in it. I also use a glass top table bought at a thrift store for a few bucks. While they are not the fanciest around they do display the fossils nicely and keep them dust free. The total cost including the sheveles was under $50.

I like how you organized them. They look very neat. I think you've got a great sense of style.

I'd hate for my wife to ask me to dust all that stuff!

I would but it's not here anymore. It was a nice half round glass cabinet, but she took that too . . . .

Darn Dan! that first display case has got some MAJOR drool* factor! really nice lot of fossils and i must say, very nicely placed...obsessed, yours is also very appealing, but maybe its not they way there set up but just the fact that there are so many freaking awesome fossils in there! haha

keep the pictures coming people!
