eddie
Here a few non-shark teeth fossils I've collected from the mine (gar scute, fish tail, porpoise tooth, gill plate, etc.) Any help on id'ing the bird bones would be appreciated. I know nothing about bird bones, other than that they are bird bones. Thanks, Eddie
Auspex
Any help on id'ing the bird bones would be appreciated. I know nothingabout bird bones, other than that they are bird bones. Thanks, Eddie First pic: Longest bone; proximal portion of a carpometacarpus, with the features of a member of the Charidriiformes (shorebirds). Second longest bone; proximal portion of a tibiotarsus, somewhat swan-like. Anything more definitive will require good, close pics from all angles.
