Couple things about this tooth. Sometimes these teeth develop that odd looking wave along the cutting edge, although I've only seen this in larger teeth.

Second, the waxy paste they slap on these teeth is really just to fill in cracks. I've removed it from some of the other teeth but this one clearly still has it.

Very nice examples from that site. They are usually very worn.

Thank you. To Doctor Mud's point, the condition of teeth coming from this locality is generally more like the one pictured below.

Finding unrestored all natural Otodus teeth from Morocco can be as hard as finding very high quality teeth from anywhere else. They have become quite proficient at filling and blending filler into teeth that are damaged or are simply incomplete. One effective test would be to drop a tooth in question in a bit of water for a while. While it does not expose all fakery, it does help with the most common and sometimes least visible filler jobs.

Here's a seemingly common tooth with some incipient serrations, possibly the earliest version of serration development in an Otodus obliquus tooth from Morocco.

I have seen an example of an entire Otodus obliquus dentition where all teeth have started developing serrations to a slightly greater extend than the example pictured here.

A real beauty! Many collectors overlook the beauty of an unrepaired o. Obliquus tooth
