surfergirlatx
Hello from Texas! I have collected several gastropods from the SAME hunting site Lower Glen Rose Kgr(l) - Trinity Group, Cretaceous, Travis County, Texas. There is such a vast range of species and I wanted to share I am im the process of photographing all my gastropod finds and I will continue to add to this thread as I get the time to continue to photograph them. Hope you all enjoy them as much as I do. #1 Front #1 Back #2 Front #2 Back Edited October 25, 2011 by surfergirlatx "The road to success is always under construction." Author Unknown. tracer
when i've been away from central texas too long, it's nice to see a hoard of glen rose fossils, and the lighting in the photos is pleasing. you realize of course that "snail lady and the steinkerns" would be a pretty good name for a rock band... Uncle Siphuncle
speaking of rock bands, keith richards is sho nuff looking older than those gastropods...i think the dood is a steinkern himself... Roz
That's a very nice gastropod collection you have there, Kim.. Welcome to the forum!
BobWill
Extrodinary variety for a single site. What an enormous task it would be to sort through and see just how many individual species are represented. Maybe FruitBats' library has documentation that could help.
