This was my find of the day this past Friday at C.F. Industries...

Approximately 3% of the blade (Give or take 2%) was sticking out of the ground, and that is what I pulled it out of the ground by.

It took me about 2 hours of looking at this (At home, and not all at once) to realize that there was the remains of a cusp on this tooth.

The cusp is circled in the second picture.

This was found in part of the Bone Valley formation (Here in Florida).

I was told that it is rare to find this tooth here in FL, and I would like to hear your opinions...

I'm going to call megalodon tooth on this fossil....sometimes they get a strange little pathology near the base of the blade.. Still, congrats on the nice find!
