Is This A Baby Turtle?

Hello,

Here is one of my finds from a fishing trip last week in South Central Wisconsin. It appears to be a skull and maybe some bones still in the host rock. Help please...

No I can see where you are thinking its Turtle just another cool psudeofossil.

Heres a map, where is SC Wisconsin did you say it was from.

Right between Beloit, WI & Clinton, WI on the banks of the Turtle creek. Very close to the IL state line.

The texture looks like coral...ish :)

yeah, Looks like its Paleozoic material.

Silurian - Devonian.

Reptile Linage if turtle doesnt go that old

Judging by the geometry Im thinking coral also.
