The one I got is now listed as $89.99. It's quiet enough you can watch tv while you use it. http://www.harborfreight.com/16-horsepower-58-psi-airbrush-compressor-and-airbrush-kit-69434.html is right but in store they had one with http://www.harborfreight.com/air-eraser-kit-69277.html Perhaps they don't offer it online anymore, only in store? If they don't have it the paasche is almost identical, as for an air scribe, I bought an electro stylus pen, with multiple tips on eBay for $20. Like holding a fat sharpie that vibrates very fast, only problem with scribes is its easy to punch into a fossil on accident, don't ask how I know that, lol.

If I get the kit and I have an air compresses what else will I need?

A powdered abrasive, such as dolomite, baking soda or calcium carbonate. Sieves to run the powder through, which will drastically reduce the amount of clogs you may experience. When it comes to the kit to use, I'd go with the paasche air eraser, I haven't used the others listed, but they seem like they'd be somewhat imprecise aside from this one listed by snake bite: http://www.harborfreight.com/air-eraser-kit-69277.html It is pretty much identical to the paasche, so I assume it'd work the same.

An in-line air dryer, to eliminate clumping.

Hi All,

I was at our local Harbour Freight store today and they had the air eraser kit for $27.00. They also had jars of " 200 Grit Media" for $10.00, no idea what size particles that would be. The air eraser actually looked pretty good quality but didn't say what the nozzle was made of. Might be worth trying one.

I use airbrushes for painting and although they would probably feed the media, they may wear out fairly quick. The nozzles and internal parts are made of softer metals than what is in the air erasers. Definitely wouldn't try an expensive air brush with blast media, maybe try one of Harbour Freight's $ 10.00 airbrushes.

I bought several plastic storage containers for fossils. The bigger one has 24 divider sections for$3.00 each.

Also found a smaller box which has 24 separate individual removable snap lid containers inside for $5.00 each. Perfect for field use or storing fossils each in their own little box. Got excited when I found these! :)

Good Hunting,

Jed
