Auspex Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 I've seen fossils called "weevil cases" from Australia that vaguely resemble it, except they have a large hole toward one end that make them look like slippers. They're also a bit smaller. Have you ruled out lizzard or snake egg? (I sent you those photos, but they must be huge, and they might not have made it.)
