That prety well sums it all up. You also need to think about what people would pay for it.
Compare it to prices on ebay and various fossil selling sites
Also it depends on how much worth it is to you.
I dont sell fossils so ive never really thought about it .

as for value, some of the people who love fossils the most are kids. so a lot of fossils ought to be priced for a kid's budget. if you can remember when you were a kid, too many cool things that you wanted badly were priced high so you couldn't have them.

why would i want to sell them? i wouldn't have gone out looking for them if i was going to want to sell them. woulda stayed home and just kept the money i spent on the trips.
That would only hold true if the cost of collecting, combined with sentimental value, was higher than their market value. If the fossil was worth more, than you want to sell them because;
