Northern Sharks
I finally have a book to help me with the ID of my ordovician finds (Invertebrate Paleontology by Twenhofel and Shrock). These 2 gastropods are from the Verulam Formation in Ontario. I think they may be Hormotoma based on the book and a faunal list I have for the formation. Any other ideas??? Metopocetus
It looks like the turritella that are from the miocene but based on location and age you gave I would say you are right on with the genus Hormotoma...I don't know the species though. Guest solius symbiosus
Hard to tell with internal molds, but I think you have two different genera; the left one being Hormotoma or Loxonema, and right one a Loxoplucus.
