Teeth, Stone Artifact Identification

hello guys,

I found these stones which look to be some sort of indian axe head possibly and some sort of tool that looks to have used for scraping hides possibly. Also i found these shark teeth and what look to be be some sort of tooth from a dolphin, or reptile. I am not sure and new to collecting. I also found this really cool piece of coal 3 feet beneath a sand bed which has a fossil in the lower right hand corner. I would love any help indentifying these items. Thank you

The one in the bottom right is a partial sawfish rostral tooth. I see some Squalicorax teeth as well.

Hello Mullery7, and Welcome to the Forum. :)

Nice finds! Thanks for posting them.

Not a huge shark tooth collector myself, but,...

This PDF may prove helpful in ID'in your finds. ;)

Although, I seem to remeber a NJ hunter on here said the two species of Squalicorax were mixed up- pictures labeled wrong?

Maybe Lordpiney, Taxman, or Darwin Ahoy could confirm?

Elasmo.com is also a good site for shark tooth ID's.

The stone"tool" doesn't look like it's been worked/or is sharp enough for the uses proposed - I'm thinking neat looking rock.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Edit for additional link. :)

I do not think that is an artifact, just a nice rock...sorry. Look for conchoidal fractures in artifacts.

Nice teeth though.
