Makes me dizzy trying to ID vertebrae. Whaddaya think? West Texas - maybe Pen Fm. Marine reptile? Which one? Male or female? How big? Exactly how old is this fossil. It's probably 2.5 inches across. Thanks in advance for your precise answers. Sincerely, T-man

Does it comes from the same place as th Ilymatogyra?Exogyra? (oyster) plate? If it is, upper Cretaceous is it`s age.So, my opinion, sea reptile could suit it.

MOROPUS,

West Texas is usually much older stuff than the Cretaceous, Pennsylvanian

mainly. opps, I stand corrected. It has permian, triassic, and cret.

Tracer, can you post a view from the side? Do you know what formation

you found it in?
