Almost missed this one. I have a guess, but will wait on someone more knowledgeable.

Short faced bear molar? I've got one that is a dead ringer for yours at home and I was told short faced bear.

That tooth has a more extensive root system, less wear on the occlusal surface, and is quite a bit larger!! This tooth is very small. Maybe a juvenile? -- It seems to be molar, is it?

Bierk -- do you have a photo to compare? I am slightly confused by size and single root... Here is a couple of photos that match Black Bear -- This new tooth seems like B105 -- the 2nd set of photos---
