I’m rather pleased with the way this turned out and thought others may find this of interest.

OUTSTANDING Display

I've never seen micro fossils displayed with photos

Congratulations B)

Like the idea of photographing on a coin. Great display!

Your idea of coin holders, in a reiker, with photos, for tiny fossils is inspired!

I just ordered a batch of holders (1.5" square, penny-sized, mylar windows), and will be retiring a bunch of gem jars from display duty. :)

That is very nice. I like that idea of the photo next to it a lot. Shame rikers are really expensive here.

Excellent display. A lot of my collection contains small fossils that have neat details that come out under

magnification. Still working on some side lighting issues before I can capture what I want with a pic

Thinking If I can make it look as good as you I might get to hang it upstairs :o:D

It's hard to remember why you drained the swamp when your surrounded by alligators.

Nice display, good ideas. One thing I notice though is that you don't have the locality info written in..

I can't wait to start working on our displays - will be certainly using your idea for the micro's. Would also be neat to have some of the in situ pics for the others. Thank you for sharing !

I think that Indy always talks about "these old eyes." I have just started wearing glasses and I must say- that idea is fantastic! It is hard for the vision impaired to see the detail, gauge the size, and I would be too embarrassed to pull out a magnifying glass! :D

Pulling out the magnifying glass is never a sign of weakness. Nothing more than you took the specimen "with enough attention to examine it a bit closer."

Adding the pictures to show the details is a great idea. Very nice display.

I have well over 20,000 perfect micro teeth from several different locations throughout the world. This is an issue I've been dealing with for a while now... Thanks to your brilliance I now have a solution!! This idea will be used and abused by me!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! :fistbump:

History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.
