fossilsofnj
I’m rather pleased with the way this turned out and thought others may find this of interest. john It's good sportsmanship to not pick up lost golf balls while they are still rolling. - Mark Twain

Acryzona
Like the idea of photographing on a coin. Great display! Collecting Microfossils - a hobby concerning much about many of the little paraphrased from Dr. Robert Kesling's book

Auspex
Your idea of coin holders, in a reiker, with photos, for tiny fossils is inspired! I just ordered a batch of holders (1.5" square, penny-sized, mylar windows), and will be retiring a bunch of gem jars from display duty. Kosmoceras
That is very nice. I like that idea of the photo next to it a lot. Shame rikers are really expensive here.

squali
Excellent display. A lot of my collection contains small fossils that have neat details that come out under magnification. Still working on some side lighting issues before I can capture what I want with a pic Thinking If I can make it look as good as you I might get to hang it upstairs It's hard to remember why you drained the swamp when your surrounded by alligators. Life 42
I can't wait to start working on our displays - will be certainly using your idea for the micro's. Would also be neat to have some of the in situ pics for the others. Thank you for sharing ! ...I'd rather be digging...Life
NatureGalTx
I think that Indy always talks about "these old eyes." I have just started wearing glasses and I must say- that idea is fantastic! It is hard for the vision impaired to see the detail, gauge the size, and I would be too embarrassed to pull out a magnifying glass!
mikecable
Pulling out the magnifying glass is never a sign of weakness. Nothing more than you took the specimen "with enough attention to examine it a bit closer."
