I wanna go back and look around some more at 20 Mile.

Hope these photos turn out halfway good. They're from a 5MP iPhone. It takes much better pics than my Olympus 8MP.

People do leave behind fossils either unintentionally or to mess with other collectors. I found a Phacops rana in the Ordovician near Maysville, KY and others in a Silurian site in Indiana. Go figure

I found a Phacops at the Petrified Forest Museum in Flora, MS. It clearly says 'Devonian', so there you go. :) I've heard of supposed out-of-place artifacts in archaeology, but none are very jaw-dropping, except maybe the Antikythera Clock. Are there any weird things in paleontology that 'aren't supposed to be'?
