Is This A Reall Small Meg?

I found this on the beach at venice Beach-Florida.

The picture is a bit dark-but it has a nice red/black color.

Looks like a small meg.

What do you think?

Well, the shadow makes it a little difficult to tell, but I think you've probably got a bull shark tooth (Carcharhinus leucas)

I based my ID on what appears to be a nutrient groove on the lingual face of the root

Good eye cbk. All I can really make out is the general shape with the shadow in the way.

Not a great picture, but the apparent location of the nutritive foramen tends to indicate bull.
