Malcolmt
No I have not , I have a couple of books on Taphonomy but not this one at $175 to $200 for the cheapest copy I have ever found on the internet, it is too rich for my blood. I do have the following taphonomy related books: Exceptional Fossil Preservation (Very good book) The Processes of Fossilization (OK book... very dry reading) Edited May 3, 2012 by Malcolmt
lagerstatten
I do have the book exceptional fossil preservation and I love it. I wish more books were published like that. An entire book covering 100 plus lagerstatten throughout the world with beautiful color images. I would buy a dozen!
Auspex
Have you seen "Vertebrate Taphonomy" (Cambridge Manuals in Archaeology) by R. Lee Lyman, and if so, what do you think of it? "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease!
