Hey there,

Red Hill is one of those sites I have always wanted to go to. There is a great website on the locality called www.devoniantimes.org/

I was wondering if anyone had any specimens from Red Hill. Please post pictures! Rarest finds?

we just saw someone's post of the fish they found. THAT is way cool. I collected there once for a few hours... got some various protofish bits.

I make a point of going to Red Hill when ever one of the clubs I belong to has a fieldtrip there.

Here are some pictures of the specimens I didn't have to surrender to the museum.

This is my Hyneria teeth collection from the Oxbow Lake member.

I'm close to the 2MB picture file budget; need to go to another posting.

Great fossils - if you keep collecting teeth, one of these days you can have a paleodentist create a set of hynaria or placoderm dentures!
