Florida: Rib Fragment?

Found at a Florida beach, East coast (St.Lucie County). Beach has reconstructive transplanted matrix with known fossils. Possible wash out, or possible fossil from off shore? This maybe too far gone to tell.

The shape, size, and density are consistent with Dugong (or at least sirinian) rib.

Yep Dugong rib nice one too. Probally from offshore wash-in. If they have replentished the beaches this past winter or rfecently could be pumped up from there or off shore storms could have done it too. Jeff
