These finds have been scattered across many counties, some not even close to each other. I wish we could find a mega concentration of them, but in the meantime any day that I find one good one is a day worth the effort.

Mike, that is the second time in a row I've plucked a beauty from underwater when Dan was around. (What is it he always says....MUHAHAHAHA!) All in all, it was a good trip. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're good, and sometimes you're both.

The only problem is that John is good enough to outhunt me at my own sites! He yanked a 6 inch Archaic knife out of one of my streams while I came home with a backpack full of air. I may be proficient at putting myself in close proximity to good finds, but apparently I lack what it takes to close the deal consistently. Maybe that's why I hunt alone so much....what I miss won't hurt me that way...
