Tell Me What You Think

Recommended Posts

I found this post-3008-0-48002600-1338612922_thumb.jpg in Nashville, TN . I did post it on Facebook while the site was down. Some think it may be a horn coral. It looks to me that it's beekite covering something but I dont think it's a coral even though the shape and size is right. I would like hear what you guys think.post-3008-0-50875500-1338613117_thumb.jpg

I think it is a brachiopod valve interior. One with a sharply upturned shell margin. Maybe something like Leptaena. But that's just a SWAG.

Definitely looks like beekite to me.

I agree with this.

Not sure there is enough left to call it anything else.

I would have thought maybe a bit of horn coral but cannot really tell.

Thanks guys I think I'll just keep it as a sample of beekite. :)
