Micro Id Help

John Hamilton

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone! I'm glad to have the forum back online! It was a very rough time going through fossil withdrawal. I managed to pass some of the time looking through my micro material from Aurora and GMR. Now I'd like some help ID'ing a few items.

Please take a look and let me know your thoughts. As always thanks in advance for your feed back.

Hey John, hope all has been well with you. Number 1 i am not so sure it is a symphyseal. But with that said I am not sure. It is rather worn but I am thinking it may be a small worn Archaeolamna kopingensis.

#2 i think may be to worn to ID

#3 i agree with your Id , Squalus acanthias

Thanks Don! I'm doing well and actually took advantage of the cooler temps on Sunday to take my wife and sons to GMR. It wasn't a very productive day but it is always good to fossil with the family.
