Ridiculously rare shark teeth

Northern Sharks

Recommended Posts

These arrived in the mail yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased. They are from a new site. The exact location is being temporarily withheld because the digger is funding the exploration himself and doesn't want it made public yet. Is your interest piqued yet????

They aren't North American

They aren't South American

They aren't European, Australian or Asian

These teeth are from a new micene site in......... Morocco. Spanish Sahara to be more accurate

Carcharocles megalodon and Isurus hastalis

Enjoy

Congrats on your new teeth. Miocene material has been reported from a few spots along the coastal beaches but most of the teeth I have seen were badly waterworn. I once had a Miocene Paratodus from Morocco (not an Otodus with missing cusps) but someone offered me $500.00 for it at a time when I could buy Lee Creek Paratodus for $75.00. I wish I had kept it, but $500 was a lot of money at that time.
