It will be a great resource! The Kentucky Geological Survey is in the process of digitizing the images, and descriptions of those images, of all USGS professional papers and other fossil images from the state(with all relevant data). It should be on-line in a year or two. At first it will be a resource for professionals(beta), but the goal is for a public resource for all interested individuals.
