Spyroceras And...something Smoothe

Here are some images of spyroceras nuntium (a Devonian cephalopod) from our Tully NY trip. The internal cast plus fragments of the outer shell are visible.

My wife has asked if someone might be able to shed some light on the "smoothe" tube structure - is this possibly the outer coat of a spyroceras or other cephalopod? (see Unidentified 1 and 2 below). Thx.

The smooth cephalopod might be a Michelinoceras.
