tender2dtouch
Hi All . . . I found this in a pile of rocks in New Jersey. Upon closer view, I noticed the orange fish. There are two definitive teeth as well. What do you think?
araucaria1959
I have doubts that they are really teeth - they look like quarzitic pebbles. araucaria1959
njcreekhunter
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's not a fossil
Auspex
I see the orange shape that looks a little like a Goldfish Cracker; this is a chance mineral feature of the rock which shape suggests a fish. It is not a fossil. Empty Pockets
I thought just a quirk of nature (and a goldfish cracker) but didn't want to break the news. Keep hunting, they are out there.
