Fossil Park Id Needed

I went to Fossil Park in OH hoping to find Bryozoa and I think I might have, what say you?

Could the dots in the center left of my 3 inch hash plate be part of Stenopora? And the stuff to the upper right be Leioclema?

I think Fossil Park is Middle Devonian, correct?

This is the link that I was using as a guide

I agree with bryozoa, but cannot say about the genus. There is also a brachiopod (spiriferid).

In addition bryzoa and brachiopod fragments, there is something else - like a sponge or some armor - the one with the dots ... in my country like brachiopods, are determined on Silurian period ...

Is the cross section of this enigmatic piece (where it is broken) calcitic like an echinoderm? Otherwise, one can consider the possibility of fish armor in the middle devonian.

The brachiopod does in fact look like Vinlandostrophia:

but the specimen we are discussing here was said to be from the middle devonian (but I don't know whether this is correct). If so, I would prefer a spiriferid, possibly Mucrospirifer.

On the other hand, if it's ordovician, Vinlandostrophia sounds very plausible. In fact, with regard to lithology, the stone really looks like some Verulam material I have.

So I think it is important to get sure about the age of that specimen.

There are 3 fossil parks in Ohio. If it was the one in Toledo/Sylvania then it is Middle Devonian Silica Shale at the Oleander Park but if its or one of the various ones in the Cincinnati Area its likely Ordovician.

@araucaria1959.

Could you expound about echinodems...i have no idea if there might be any in my hash plate, it would be cool if there is.

I'm looking at this guide - http://www.isgs.uiuc.edu/maps-data-pub/publications/beg-fossils/plate-17.shtml

I'm not sure what calcitic means, i'll look it up.

And i'm learning about Placoderms

I'll try to post better pictures after I clean it some more.

Thanks very much.
