Recommended Posts

Found by a friend in the Mojave Desert. I was thinking family Ophiuridae. Any thoughts/more specific ID?

Thanks,

Zach

Sure looks like an ophiuroid. You are finding some fascinating items there, do you know what age the rock is or any other info?

Thanks Inyo, but I have no reason to suspect a hoax. It was found in southern NV, not CA.
