Mr_ed 20 Posted November 15, 2012 Merritt is halfway between McAbee and Princeton and has some nice fossils to be found. There are fossils west at Dot Ranch, East at Quilchena, North at Eve Lake and South at Kingsvale. fossils can be found in the City of Merritt along the truck route. I have cheched out a dozen places around Merritt and found fossils in them. I am going to show some of them in this thread and hope that others have fossils from the Merritt area that they will share as well.

Someone posted a while ago about how they were run off from there by an irate land owner. Don It is on private property and you can't get there very well in the summer without walking through a alfalfa field, and you do need permission which you won't likely get until the crop is off .. septemberish..Ed
