Lizard Tracks Found Yesterday

Hi all,

I dont usually post photos of my finds, but since I recently got reprimanded by Auspex for not posting pics of my collection, I decide to post little something i found yesterday. Lizard tracks from late triassic. enjoy.

Thanks Solius. Yes, you should come back here - we'll have lot of fossil fun. These tracks were found in NJ though..

Maybe in the spring. I found a nice Cerarus pygidium at "that" outcrop. ;) I would love to hunt the Trenton again...

Congrats Mike, I didn't fare as well. Hit those two locations I mentioned, nothing to show for it. Looking forward to get together again. Maybe weekend after next.

Thanks, FossilHunter; I really do have a thing for tracks, especially verts!

I was out of town for a week, and this was a treat to come back to.

I keep thinking how cool it would be to collect tracks as a category...they're the living fossils.

I will be posting more tracks especially since you like seeing them. That's basically all I collect these days trying to catch up with Edward Hitchcock's collection of 20,000 dino tracks:) According to my calculations, at the speed I am going, I will need another 200 years to collect as many:)
