With the "Baby Mastodon" TFF thread, I was searching the net for Tapir, Peccary, and Mastodon teeth and discovered this one, identified as Peccary. http://www.indiana9f...tes/Peccary.htm Very odd!!!!

It did remind me of a tooth I found weeks ago and believed I had correctly identified as non-Peccary. I will not confuse the identification by adding what I thought it was...

SIZE -- just on 25mm=1 inch across the occusal surface.
