John Hamilton
I was looking through some material I brought home from GMR and found this tiny bone and vert. Just wondering if anyone can possibly I.D. them. Thanks for looking! Edited January 20, 2013 by John Hamilton
jcbshark
I'm not sure but the tooth looks like some drum fish teeth I have. Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

Rob Russell
Wow! Those are small!! Nice finds. I hope someone recognizes them, and is able to ID them for you. I'll be interested in knowing what they're from as well. Finding my way through life; one fossil at a time.
Al Dente
I don't know what kind of vertebrae these are. You can get better photos if you use a background that is close to the same shade as the fossil. Using a white background with a black fossil doesn't work very well. Sometimes when using a point and shoot the camera's aperature and shutter speed is adjusting for the background and not the subject

I'll give that a try and see if I can get better pics to post.

DE&i
I’m comparing the unknown bone with my marine reptile finds and it looks very much like digit from a paddle limb of which has been crushed and distorted. Very difficult to determine which type of vert that could be I’m afraid but most defiantly a vertebrae. Hope this was of any help here’s a photo of one of my marine reptile digits if you can see any comparison. Its the second one from the bottom thats black in colour Edited January 20, 2013 by D&E Regards.....D&E&i The only certainty with fossil hunting is the uncertainty. https://lnk.bio/Darren.Withers
