clfossils
Brachiopods from the Ashlock Formation Every February the climbing club that I belong to heads down to Slade, Kentucky for some climbing at the Red River George. One of the days we were down there it was a too cold to go climbing, so a group of us decided to go on an adventure, seeking out fossils. No particular goal or location in mind but merely to go driving and check out some road cuts. Here are some of the fossils that were found that day: Platystrophia ponderosa (Brachiopoda) from the Ashlock Formation in Kentucky Get out collecting, thank you for taking a look Corey Lablans Edited March 19, 2013 by clfossils
